Lizheng Shi, PhD, MsPharm
Is the Regents Associate Professor in the Department of Global Health Systems and Development at the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine of Tulane University. He is also jointly appointed as clinical faculty in the Departments of Medicine and Psychiatry at the School of Medicine of Tulane University. He has more than 15 years of experience in health data analytics using claims, EMR, and survey data. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles and one book chapter.
Anjum Khurshid, PhD, MD, MPAff
Is the Director of Health Systems at LPHI acting as the Principal investigator of the ONC-funded Crescent City Beacon Community clinics and hospitals to establish the Greater New Orleans Health Information Exchange (GNOHIE). Previously, Dr. Khurshid was the Director of Evaluation and Clinical Research for the Integrated Care Collaboration (ICC), where he developed a robust population-level analytics function using the longitudinal clinical database of more than 1.5 million unique patients. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the School of Medicine and an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Global Health Systems in the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane University. Dr. Khurshid is a seasoned professional of analytic health research and regularly collaborates with academic and clinical researchers on clinical data analytics and translational projects.
