Lizheng Shi, PhD, MsPharm

Is the Regents Asso­ciate Pro­fes­sor in the Depart­ment of Global Health Sys­tems and Devel­op­ment at the School of Pub­lic Health and Trop­i­cal Med­i­cine of Tulane Uni­ver­sity. He is also jointly appointed as clin­i­cal fac­ulty in the Depart­ments of Med­i­cine and Psy­chi­a­try at the School of Med­i­cine of Tulane Uni­ver­sity.  He has more than 15 years of expe­ri­ence in health data ana­lyt­ics using claims, EMR, and sur­vey data.  He has pub­lished more than 50 peer-reviewed arti­cles and one book chapter.


Anjum Khur­shid, PhD, MD, MPAff

Is the Direc­tor of Health Sys­tems at LPHI act­ing as the Prin­ci­pal inves­ti­ga­tor of the ONC-funded Cres­cent City Bea­con Com­mu­nity clin­ics and hos­pi­tals to estab­lish the Greater New Orleans Health Infor­ma­tion Exchange (GNOHIE).  Pre­vi­ously, Dr. Khur­shid was the Direc­tor of Eval­u­a­tion and Clin­i­cal Research for the Inte­grated Care Col­lab­o­ra­tion (ICC), where he devel­oped a robust population-level ana­lyt­ics func­tion using the lon­gi­tu­di­nal clin­i­cal data­base of more than 1.5 mil­lion unique patients.  He is also a Clin­i­cal Assis­tant Pro­fes­sor of Med­i­cine in the School of Med­i­cine and an adjunct fac­ulty mem­ber in the Depart­ment of Global Health Sys­tems in the School of Pub­lic Health and Trop­i­cal Med­i­cine at Tulane Uni­ver­sity.  Dr. Khur­shid is a sea­soned pro­fes­sional of ana­lytic health research and reg­u­larly col­lab­o­rates with aca­d­e­mic and clin­i­cal researchers on clin­i­cal data ana­lyt­ics and trans­la­tional projects.
